inspiration

it's my first day of work and i'm savoring the languid pace that may not last for long.

yesterday ended with a tremendous amount of inspiration that will hopefully last me till 6:30 today and for the rest of the week. i watched a shirtless trey farley play soccer in bend it like beckham. enough to make me swoon though the 6 scenes were short-lived. right before going to bed, i was able to watch an hour of n.e.r.d.'s fly or die concert in sydney. pharrell was eventually shirtless too! he has such charisma, dancing and hugging the ladies onstage and reaching out to everyone's hand... i wish i had "an ass which is a spaceship he wants to ride" so i could get some "backseat love". damn you pharrell, you're too hot!! oh, and i also watched brad pitt dancing on oprah primetime. oohh whee!! drool-worthy sunday. oh, and my mum warned me against debonaire musicians. DEBONAIRE MUSICIANS?!?! OF COURSE I CAN HANDLE DEBONAIRE MUSICIANS!!! hahahahahaha... me, of all people, to be warned about debonaire musicians... i know them all too well, i think.

one of today's great discoveries is that copper pop thrill is our artist. they're really good! they're my ate moppet's friends since high school back when they were still called agnus day. i watched them at the watering hole at shangri-la with my sisters and this year at the UP fair with may, jjo and rica. too bad their recording wasn't very good, but they play very well. oh, and one of my bosses played "tiny dancer" by elton john. i was straining to listen to that instead of the cheap baranggay pop being piped right behind me by 90.7 FM station. oh well. i've braced myself enough.

as of the first day, it seems awfully cheap to work here. i'm glad =)
