general santos

i brought two starlets to general santos last friday. one was my roomie. she's nice. our day was long. the morning was relaxed - lounging around in our hotel rooms. i took a walk and some photos around the park and the catholic church. after a late, heavy lunch (so heavy, one starlet noticed my huge appetite), we made the rounds of radio stations, quickly prepared for the mall show and sped off to the venue. not enough security guards. HA! serves her right that everyone wants a piece of her. after a late, heavy dinner, i retired to our room while everyone else went out for coffee. quiet time's good. got knocked out after my bath. it was a 20-hour day. and i wasn't even able to take pictures of the ducks and the mosques. or buy something in the market. i saw a batik store that i thought i could dig.

mindanao is beautiful and green and peaceful. everyone's nice. even the men with guns (there are hardly any). they move slow and take their time. i should go there again and explore. naia ii reminds me of catch me if you can. what is it about pilots and flight attendants? they look really attractive and enviable. i wonder why. i can't do their jobs though, i'm pretty sure.
