i can't believe my luck! i got into the franz ferdinand raffle ...twice!

last night, during the slow drive from petron to our home, i heard the cue to call for the f-game so i whipped out my mobile. after a couple of busy tones, i finally got in and was immediately answered on-air. i was so nervous because they didn't announce the question beforehand. it was fortunate that they asked the fetish question again. the DJ even forgot to ask me the double f band that's playing in hong kong and their boss nigel was rushing to the booth to reprimand the jock so he put me on the air again. whew!

this morning, i got May into the contest too (since a name can't appear twice on the list), because i know she's loco over alex kapranos. they were looking for a word that meant a part of a car shaped over each tire to prevent splashing of water or mud -- fender!! WAHOO!!! Caller #4, i was.

so MAY ANNMARIE SALVADOR CORPUZ, if you're reading this blasted blog, please, please come to the raffle draw on February 9 at Sidebar, El Pueblo, probably around 7/730ish in the evening. If you have to take a half/whole day leave from your McJob, you better file it now, because your entry will be forfeited if you're not at the draw. and you better get your passport renewed! rica got it done in what, 2-3 days?
