i was very honored to be reev's guest lecturer yesterday at the same course that changed my life: bc 106. along with shishi, we discussed what it means to be a producer in class. as a plus, i told them what it's like in "the real world" - PY, samplers, press kits & all. it was such an occasion for me - a real highlight that i just have to tell you about.
the class was too quiet. much too quiet. makes me scared about their first stint as recording executives. i think reev's kinda scared too. it's hard to deal with a class like that, and i don't even have the full responsibility for their learning experience. i guess once you understand that part of the job, that's when you really take preparing lessons to heart.
so here's to my favorite teacher reev, and my other teacher-friends rica, jennie jo & isbel. that job's not for me. at least not yet.
