that being the trip last month to bohol. So far this is the vacation with the best value for money. Consider this: for the low low price of 10,000, I was able to:
- Fly round trip
- Stay for 3 nights in a Panglao inn
- Buy liquor, contraband and pasalubong
- Dine
- Pray and make a wish in the oldest church and ogle at vestments with bullion embroidery
- Have a buffet lunch while cruising along the Loboc River
- Watch tarsiers eating crickets and licking each other's asses
- Eat great homemade ice cream while the boys viewed insects
- Cross a hanging bridge where the only reward I got was a buko Karl paid for
- Climb a Chocolate Hill in order to view all the other ones
- Hang out with Mae and Philip, and marvel at her adventures as a college instructor, graduate student and a kid who grew up along the river.
- Wade in the sea with Karl and sunbathe on the shore (a first for us)
