shameless luck!

indeed, i am too lucky, it's shameless. i won a painting from my officemate. i own art! can you imagine?! here's the story:

we decided to have an office exchange gift wherein items to be brought are currently owned, but unused and unwanted. our graphic artist, who is also a multi-awarded up-and-coming abstract painter named fitz herrera, decided to bring an unsold piece. and then we decided to cancel the whole thing since we were so few left these past three days. but! we suckered fitz into donating his work for the raffle comprised of company cash and leftover corporate gifts. his was the grand prize. and i got it! imagine such luck, after all other fortunate incidents this past holiday. it's shameless. shameless indeed.

i think it's sort of a call to generosity and kindness on my part. because i've been noticing how mean and selfish and intolerant i can truly get. even just at jeeps with people who poke their elbows and knees at me. so there. if any of you catch me with a horrible attitude, just tell me: "remember the cash, the fashion ruler and the painting. you should be ashamed of yourself."
